Decision Rendered

For those of you wondering what did she decide about the Tower of Terror 10 Miler?  The answer is yes!!  I am officially entered (and I got in on the last day before the price increase).  The capacity percentage is slowly creeping up which also spurred on my decision.  Now, hopefully the airfare will drop (and I can get those days off work).  The next question being, whatever will I wear?  I’m thinking a Minnie Mouse inspired costume, but I’m not completely sold on it yet.

While Abby had a great suggestion, which I loved, to do the 5K  the morning of the Tower of Terror 10 Miler and count the day as my 5th half marathon (3.1 + 10 = 13.1), I realized that the first 4 of my half marathons are all going to be in different states (CA, FL, OR, and WA).  So then I started thinking I wanted my 5th to be in a different state as well.  (Cue Gaston from Beauty and the Beast: Lefou, I’m afraid I’ve been thinking…)

But which state?  And which race?  There are so many options to choose from!    When the dust settled, the race I have in my sights is (big dramatic pause) Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas!  I mean – the Strip at night?  And the chance to get an extra medal since it will be my third RnR Half?  Yes please!  While it isn’t set completely in stone, I’m definitely setting my sights on it.

I’m so happy you registered!!! And I’m with you – the airfare needs to drop … A LOT!! What the heck is going on with it this year? It’s crazy!

Vegas RnR — last year was such a disaster that this year has to be better. But even with the disaster that it was — I LOVED the course and would totally do it again!
