50 Nifty United States

Considering I have participated in races in five different states so far this year (and hoping to add one more!), I thought it would be fun to keep a tally!  And of course, make a list where I can check off states.  This will be a simple list with simple rules – the race can be any length and the state that it starts in is the state that counts.  Plus, it gives me a reason to visit lots of states!  As if I need a reason to travel, right? 🙂  No time limit or required number of states per year, just a fun way to keep track of where I’ve raced and share the race love all over the United States!

Of course, suggestions of races are more than welcome!

Since I just did it – I’d suggested the Boston 5K … you get to run in Boston, get a medal, run with elites, AND cross the Boston Marathon finish line – without even having to run 26.2 miles or qualify!
